Hi Reader,

I've been trying something new over the past week. If you're following me on Instagram, you might have seen the shift.

I'm writing short stories every day. Sometimes they're from my past and experience, and other times, they're from the events of the day. On Sunday, there was even a poem about blackberries at the farmer's market. 🖤🫐

While I started this out of some frustration over the lack of reach on social media (if only a handful of people are going to see it, why don't I just create for that handful of people?!), the results so far have been really interesting.

I'm feeling more creative, more in-tune with my Sacral Chakra, my imagination, and my love for words.

And as I continue to support this creative endeavor each day, I'm finding it easier and flowier than ever (is flowier a word?).

Plus, my people are loving it! The folks who were already seeing my posts are seeing them in a new light. We're creating more community through simple, real-life reflections!

So, if you're feeling disconnected from your creativity, consider this a sign to do something simple to reconnect with it.

I'm focused on writing a short story of around 7 sentences each day. That's it. Your reconnection can be something just as simple!
