Happy Tuesday, Reader!
How is it already the last week of October? This week ends with the Witches' New Year, Samhain, on Saturday. This is a great time to set energetic and spiritual intentions for the next year. (Have you heard my take on how we can celebrate four "new year days?" Yeah, it's not just Jan 1st around here!)
This week, we're getting weird.
Not Halloween mask or wacky makeup weird, although that's welcome too. No, this week, I'm talking all about radiating your light, embracing your weird, and making money with your uniqueness!

Be Weird 👽
Think about your favorite musician or a fun movie star. I'll give you an example: Zendaya. Now, if you haven't been paying attention, Zendaya does theme and promotional dressing better than anyone. Just Google her press looks for Dune or The Odyssey.
Honestly, each movie release is better than the last. And she's become known for wearing a spiderweb dress for Spiderman movies, a robotic looking body suit for Dune, and something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue for The Drama.
And while her style may not be what you call "weird" (I call it artistic and smart AF!), it is notable. Plus, who knows? Maybe she would have been bullied for standing out so much when she was a kid.

Abundance is YOURS!
Ok this is so fun because The Sun was the card I pulled live on the podcast last week, and here it is again. So, the Universe obviously wants you to know that abundance is yours.
The Sun (both the card and the actual luminary) shines light on the darkness. It brings warmth when days are cold. It makes the dew drops on the grass blades sparkle.
When The Sun card pops up, it's always a reminder to be expansive, to take up space, and be yourself. So, of course, it aligns with this week's message here too. I love when the cards conspire for a beautiful message like this!
There's a lot of divine masculine energy and fire energy to The Sun as well. It's activating and alive. How are you embracing your vitality this week?

🪄 OCTOBER SHADOW WORK
Love on Your Past Self
All of us were bullied or made fun of for being ourselves at one point...probably in middle school.
What if you could go back to your middle school self and give that kiddo some love? You can! I invite you to settle into a short meditation or visualization, and invite your little self to come forward.
Give them a big hug and a high five. Let them know that the thing that makes them weird is the thing that makes their friends want to hang out with them now. It's what makes their work stand out, their art have a voice, or their social circle to feel fun.
Tell your past self what you wish you'd been able to hear at the time. This is shadow work in action, and it can help you move through the roadblocks you come upon when you try to be yourself.

Yep, We're in Venus AND Mercury Retrograde
You know what that means:
Take extra time in your day to make sure you re-read emails and messages before sending them. Leave a little bit earlier for the airport than you normally would. Give that spinning wheel on the website a little more time to load. And rest!
I always suggest "re-" words for retrograde:
- Rest
- Realign
- Reassess
- Release
- Relax
Because if you try to force things, it never ends up working out for you.
