Honestly, this is a great time to get organized, get rid of the junk that's piled up in corners (metaphorically and literally), and focus on finding clarity.

The Altar "isn't Finished" Yet...

No, really, let's talk about perfectionism. We can actually fall into a loop of "perfection paralysis" which is the belief that everything must be flawless before you move ahead.

The result is that most of the time, you never move ahead at all.

Does this sound familiar? Don't feel bad. It's one of the most common psychological traps among high-achievers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.

HOWEVER, this is your call to hit "publish" on something that's good enough. Whether it's your website you've been rebuilding since January, an offer that still doesn't feel right, or an actual altar that doesn't feel totally Pinterest-worthy.

As Ferris Bueller said, "Life moves pretty fast," and that's true for your work too. Life is moving, your clients are buying, and if perfectionism is holding you back from getting your work out there, you're missing out on opportunities, cash, and connections.

Things Are Kicking Into Gear!

This week's card is the 8 of Wands and I literally let out a "whoo hoo" when I pulled it! The 8 of Wands is about speed, velocity, and the fire of creativity. It suggests we'll be able to make quick decisions this week, that good news is on its way, and something's coming to a positive resolution

Your Rates Aren't Sacred

Costs have gone up, but when was the last time your prices increased? It feels like you're protecting your clients by freezing your rate. But what you're really doing is protecting your nervous system from a conversation you've decided will go badly before you've even had it.

If you're uncomfortable raising your rates for current clients, your new clients better be quoted a higher rate. That's totally acceptable. But, your clients have likely increased their rates for their products and services. They likely expect you to raise your rates too.

Don't treat your rates like they're sacred and carved in stone. Your business is supposed to support you, not be an expensive hobby.

Eclipse #2 is Coming Soon!

The Full Moon in Pisces & Lunar Eclipse arrives on Aug. 27/28 (the 27th for Pacific folks; the 28th for Eastern timers). It's happening near the North Node which means we'll feel restless and a sense of urgency.

We're also learning a lot about how to trust our intuition. A plot twist might be in the cards for you at the end of this week, too. Allow your emotions to flow, express how you feel, and make sure to rest. This one might be a doozy!
